My husband Rahul was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer that would only occur 1 in a Million people. He was misdiagnosed as a cyst in the shoulder and underwent surgery on 23 rd November. It took 3 pathologist to find out the rare cancer which was classified as high grade stage 3. We got the report on 23rd December. We didn’t knew what to do. My husband is only 36 years and we have two little girls (7 and 4 yrs). My Mother told us about St Antony’s church Koratty and asked us to attend online Holy Mass and Novena of St. Antony. We are from Changanaseery and haven’t had heard about Koratty Church before . My mother lived close to Shornour with my brother for his college studies and had come to this church. We started attending the online Holy Mass and Novena everyday since 26th December. Rahul had to have a second surgery on 1st of February. A very complex surgery to take out remaining cancerous tissues from right shoulder and to reconstruct it with muscle flap and skin graft by taking out skin and muscle from else were in the back and put it in the hole which would be formed where the cancerous tissue would be removed was planned. Doctors said the surgery would take 4 hours and he will have to stay in hospital for 7-10 days. They also said his treatment plan with radiation will happen after retesting the tissues for cancer. We put our complete faith and trust in Jesus. We prayed for complete healing through intercession of Mother Mary and St. Antony. We offered the Holy Mass on 1st of February in St Antony’s church for Rahul. Jesus heard our prayer. While I was praying to Online Holy Mass at 6:30 am( here in Brisbane it is 11 am) I got the call from the Doctor that they have taken out the suspected Cancerous tissue, they didn’t needed to dig deep and they didn’t had to do muscle flap or skin graft. They were able to close the wound with simple suture !! We prayed for Jesus to be with the doctors in the operation and help them and guide them and answered our prayers. I could see that they had already marked the area for muscle flap and shaven and prepared his thigh for skin graft after he came back from surgery. He was discharged from hospital in 2 days time ! Moreover his pathology result from second surgery came back clear and he doesn’t have to have any Radiation !! We are always grateful for Gods Mercy towards us sinners. We attends Online Holy mass everyday now. We find time to do our evening prayers. We attended the azhukatha navinte navanal and attended Holymass, novena and adoration. On 7th February God showed mercy and sent his Holyspirit on me during adoration. I can feel Holyspirits presence since then and is Thankful for Gods love and care for us sinners.
We would like to contribute towards treatment expense of cancer patients through Chruch . Kindly let us know how to do that .
